Crispy Fresh Apple & Oat Meal Crumble

International Egg less Dessert Special
Crispy Fresh Apple & Oat Meal Crumble
Serves 6-8

Ingredients:
Apples- 4 Large, Peeled & Thinly Sliced
Lemon Juice- 2 No’s
Cinnamon Powder- 1 Tsp.
Jaggery (Gur)- 2 Tbsp., Powdered
Light Brown Sugar- 2 Tbsp.
Nutmeg- a Pinch
Grated Lemon Zest-

Method:
In a Mixing Bowl, Mix Apple Slices & Lemon Juice with Hands well enough so that all the Slices get Coated evenly
Add Cinnamon Powder, Jaggery, Nutmeg, Lemon Zest & Mix Well with Hands

For the Oat Meal Mix:
Porridge Oats- 1 Cup
Light Brown Sugar- 2 Tbsp.
Cinnamon Powder- 1 Tsp.
Chilled White Butter- 2 Tbsp., Cut in Cubes

Method:
In a Mixing Bowl, Combine the Oats, Light Brown Sugar & Cinnamon Powder with Hands
Grate the Chilled Butter in the Bowl & make a Crumble Mixture with Hands
Grease a Baking Pan with Butter
Sprinkle some of the Oat Mixture at the Bottom
Add the Apples & Sprinkle the Rest of the Oats Mixture on Top


Settle down the Mixture by Gently Settling the Pan
Keep the Pan in a Preheated Oven to Bake at 190 Degree C for 30-40 Minutes or till the Apple Crumble is Browned & the Fruit Look Goey!
Serve Hot!

Tip:
The High Calories of the Traditional Apple Pie like the White Flour have been put away in this Dish, so this can be had for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner Guilt Free!!

For a Tang Flavour, can add about a Tbsp. of Marmalade as well in the Apple Mixture just before Baking

Can Add some Extra Grated Butter on Top of the Apple Crumble Mixture before Baking which will give a Nice Colour to the Dish Post Baking
Add the Light Brown Sugar & Cinnamon both to the Apples as well as the Oats for Extra Flavour!
